At the Iridia Health Hub, we offer a Pre-Hire Medical Exam for individuals who are looking to become a firefighter with Delta Fire Department. Our exam assesses the overall health and physical fitness of the individual, and is designed to determine their ability to perform the essential job functions safely and effectively. With our comprehensive exam, we provide the necessary insight to ensure that firefighters are well-prepared and well-equipped to carry out their duties. The components of the exam involve; medical history and physical exam, vision testing, a resting ECG and spirometry. Blood work including a TB test blood test and an audiology test will take place at a separate nearby location. And don’t worry, we will schedule your appointment for you!
