VFRS - Pre-Hire Medical Exam

Service Description

At the Iridia Health Hub, we offer a Pre-Hire Medical Exam for individuals who are looking to become a firefighter with VFRS. Our exam assesses the overall health and physical fitness of the individual, and is designed to determine their ability to perform the essential job functions safely and effectively. With our comprehensive exam, we provide the necessary insight to ensure that firefighters are well-prepared and well-equipped to carry out their duties. The components of the exam involve; medical history and physical exam, vision testing, a resting ECG and spirometry. Blood work including a TB test blood test and an audiology test will take place at a separate nearby location. And don’t worry, we will schedule your appointment for you! Once your booking is complete, a member of our team will reach out to you as soon as possible with details for these bookings.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so a minimum of 72 hours in advance. A full refund will be issued if you cancel with a minimum of 72 hours. A refund will take 7-10 business days. Please note that appointments cancelled within 72 hours of the appointment as well as missed appointments, will only receive a partial refund and are subject to a fee of $50.
